2008 in Review - Your Thoughts + *POLL*
so what did you guys think of the spl scene in the 2008?
Good, the bad, the sexy and the ugly - talk about it all. Likes, dislikes, personal accomplishments, gains and failures.
Who do you think was the person of the 2008 season, who was the funniest, niceset, rudest, etc. How did you like 2008 compared to 2007? Anything else you want to talk about, go for it.
What was the highlight of the season? Best beif of the season? Joke of the season?

personally accomplishment of 2008 was breaking 150 in a box i designed and built myself, that was a treat achievement for me.
Best competitor of 2008 had to be Yuli, taking home the regional title at finals was awesome.
Best beif/drama was me and peter lol
2008 was my first real season competing on my own and i had alot of fun meeting and making new friends.
My biggest disaster was buying a car with a trunk too small for a proper street box lol. Although i was able to do a respectable score with what i had to work with.
Joke of the season was Ed's granite box.
My highlight was doing the 150.4 on TL in the lanes of the team alltech show with a legal street A setup agains a st C setup (2 batteries) and winning.

2008 was fun but in the end I was dissappointed with my result. I think 2009 will be better and I have my fingers crossed for more Beifs but now that everyone is banned from the forum it's not as likely. Also CSPL sucks I wish moreeffort was put into dbdrag and bass race rather than cspl

Let's seeee...2008, loved all the beif. Yuli sucks for retiring but you still ma nizzle. The legend was all over the place in full effec. Yes Ed made us all embrace the word DEGENERATE, gotta love ED. A year of power hungry itchy fingers. Nobody wanted to have beif wit me. I am happy with my accomplishments thanks to ma mang. 2009 hopefully will bring more beif(preferably with me), more of the legend, the word DEGENERATE will live on, Yuli will do a 160 in da rex and I feel a 55 comin.

Well lets see 2008 SUCKED. I did nothing and had fun doing it. Best part of 2008 is that it ended. Best beif was everyone against CCA (how sad was that). What do i want for 2009, to finish one box and one car and have fun like i did 06-07.

08 was a great year seeings how i have weekends off now, and 07 i had to work both saturday and sunday and could only make it to 4 shows in 07. hopefully 09 will be a better year. i've met alot of great people, VERY few jerks, but there was a 1 or 2, and i've learned so much from the vetrans and i think the peoples champion is yuli.
