2008 in Review - Your Thoughts + *POLL*
For me, the funniest moment of the season was Dave D aka MTA Neon at finals drunk and high off pot being super hyper at 3 am like he just drank a jug of coffee mixed with redbull. I know only like 3 other people from this forum where there to see this but it was totally jokes. What made it even funnier for me is that the whole time I was wishing I could take a pic.......but i was too high to realize that my camera was actually in my pocket the whole time.
Funniest man of the season I'd have to say Ed, from smashing decks on the ground to the granite box to his spontaneous anger outbursts when he calls everyone and their lil sister a DEGENERATE.......thank you for countless laughs.
I'd have to say Richard was the man of the year, putting on a single, double and tripple db drag shows shows along with a TON of CSPL shows and only asking that people show up and participate. Someone's like me can't ask for anything else.
2008 was good in the way that anyone whom i've helped one way or another had gained spl in good amounts.
BEIF of the year was probably Peter vs. a number of his former team mates. That was some good, heart felt drama. Wonder if we gonna have anymore in the '09, i sure hope so.
and although it was my own idea i think the LEGEND shirts were awesome!!

I was new to the spl scene last year, and I'm very happy with all that I accomplished. I have to thank Adam for introducing me to cspl, and I really thank Adam and Peter for all of their knowledge and entertaining ALL of my MANY questions, and without their support I NEVER would have accomplished my goals.
I also want to thank two of my teammates in particular, John and Justin. They drove out to shows with me and I don't think I would have had a great season without them. I met quite a few people this season and it was really cool to see the same faces at shows, chatting with other competitors really makes these events fun.
Yuli, you are by far the best competitor of 2008. I didn't know you (only your reputation) and you jumped on my windshield for me without a second guess. You are a great person and you have a great attitude towards the noobs like myself; It's veteran competitors like yourself who make this sport less threatening.
Ed, you are the loudest, rudest, funniest and most entertaining veteran I met. Thank-you for your help with my first bassrace event at the Brampton show, and all of your knowledge you shared with me.
I hope to do well in DB Drag this year and start competing with the big boys, cspl did a good job of getting my feet wet and I am really looking forward to 2009.
P.S. David, I know you want me to reply to your P.S. and start some more BEEF (yes that's right, BEIF is not a word, nor is it recognized even in the urban dictionary.) but I refuse to acknowledge your sh*t disturbing.

Meh.. guess I'll fill it in.
Likes: Finally getting my together and being able to go to dbDrag finals. Having just about EVERYONE help out on my car when I needed it down there. (even Tom when I was going against him in the next round.. ). Having an awesome team and learning SO much from them. Amy & Wayne being SO cool about me borrowing their amps for finals. They are life savers. Ed stepping up and lending me a charger and recones for finals. Jeff/Mar and family for being some of the best friends a guy could ever have. Keyur for just being an awesome guy to hang out with and work with.
Dislikes: Blowing up 2 ****ing amps at finals. All the talking on the forum. (I GET that it shouldn't be a big deal but I take it personally. That's just the type of person I am. **** you if you want to make fun of me for it). People calling my house/cell/work or even MSN/email/facebook to bug me about they started themselves on the forum. Not being able to follow through with getting a 1000.1 like I had told Nick I would. I'm a man of my word and I HATE breaking it. (He was super cool about it and understands why, but it still bugs me)
Person for 2008 for me was Jeff hands down. He pretty much made my season
People of the year - Psychoacoustics. I love going to shows with these guys. If only because they let me be the lucky Pierre
Funniest and rudest both at the same time... Ed.
Beif of the season... EVERYONE vs. Rick.
