Ok, I asked to get the Monday off too and I think I can get it. I will be attending this show I believe and am looking forward to my very first car audio showing. Do we know what will be available for hearing yet? Will there be any Dynaudio, Morel or Scanspeak drivers being used in any vehicles? Also, really want to hear some larger midbasses to see what the benefit is in sql. I am toying with moving to a 8-10 inch midbass myself but have never heard what that brings to the table. It is alot of work in my vehicle (if even possible) so I would like to know what that actually will bring to the table first ideally. So, anyone running Elate 9, Dyn mw182/mw172 or Scanspeak Discovery 8s?

 

so bill 19 days till your show gonna try and have a bigger one then last years turn out. I hope for as many cars if not more.

 

Yes, I am hoping for alot of cars to be there. I especially want to be able to hear some strong sq vehicle and hopefully running stuff I haven't been able to hear here. There might actually be a few guys that might want to hear what I am running in my vehicle too even if I am not competing. This is my first ever show with me even being a spectator. I am really looking forward to it and I just hope I am not disappointed in the end. It is a 6 hour drive each way for me.

Anyone care to list out here that they are going to this show and what they are running for brands? I know I would be appreciative.

Where abouts is the show located in Creston and what time are things running? I am definitely going to be heading to this one. This will be the first car audio show I have ever witnessed. How many sq vehicles have you got confirmed and do you know what everyone will be running?

Unfortunately, I blew my midbass amp accidentally and its replacement (a much better and stronger one - Mosconi :0)) is still in transit to me so my vehicle doesn't sound near as good as it can and has in the past. I couldn't live without midbass so I am now running tweeterless at the moment and I must say it is not too bad at all although never as good as with them in the game too and I have lost some output on the midrange and up (50 watts just can't compete with 150 watts lol).

I hope you can make it, although, from the way you are posting, you might be disappointed. Most of the times we get out 20 guys with only 2-3 guys competing in SQ. I hope that this year is different, but you never know. This means a great chance for a trophy though......

I won't be competing as at this time I am just trying to hear some things I have not heard before. I might have considered it if I actually had my setup sounding its best but with a severe loss of power due to me frying my midbass amp and not having power for tweeters right now I won't attempt it. I sure hope that more than 2-3 guys show up for sq but even 2-3 guys I might actually be able to learn something from too maybe?

You never know??? The feeling out there is there is not alot of money, so we'll see....We always have a good time, and there is a car show in the park, so some really cool rides. I am still working on my honda today, I hope it is ready....2 15's in a wall....Should be loud!
