like i said, bout the 141.6 i honestly cant say that i hit that number, but at the same time i cant honeslty say that i didnt get lucky and hit a note

i think its kinda bunk they had me re run AFTER they played with the mic settings between rounds, like i woulda been alot more cool with it if they had said right there "um hey we arent sure if it spiked or what can u do us a favor and come back thru the lane in about 10 minutes and re run...." rather then as i pull up for my second run bein told yea we might have u run again....

alot of people went up in the second round, but i know i wasnt the only one who went down 3-4 db from the first round so i dunno,

like i said tho, i cant say for sure i did the 141, so i wont front like i did. ill say the 137 was the top and be happy with it (i wouldnt have used the gift certificates for area 51 anyhow so no big deal.

i think next comp i might bring my 10s along and just leave em unplugged on my back seat and run 3-4 sub lol.... either that or throw in my crunch amp lol.....oh well what can u do when the midget starts beatin on that gong right?

boy thank god it wasn't a sanctioned event. Seems that it pissed everyone off. well thank god they put on an event, most companies don't. Id be happier to be at an event, than at home waiting for one. Whether a show is badly run, badly advertised, badly coordinated, and badly attended, you still got a show out of it. Concentrate on the good and less on the bad. We don't even get any more big shows out here in vancouver. (1 HOB and that's it). Must suck to have a show to go to.(or at least it sounds that way, by all the negativity posted). congrats to all your scores and winners

damn those mics sound sky high.. </font>
keep in mind thats him adding about 14db to each score.......cus he heard the mics were 14db off the auto temp mics the weekend before....(either didnt, or neglected to realize the auto temp mics were about 8db high to start off, and the fact that the mics were adjusted between the first and second rounds, by about 3-3.5db, to end up being only about 2-2.5db low compared to last years termpro mics anyhow...)

wait tell you guys are on the new termlab.net sensors. that will tell you where you are for spl. very fair, accurate and stable. What are you guys down from? what meter is the real meter? get the point. Around here there is only one program you can go by and that is the termlab.net . all the rest are just not that accurate (too a certian extent. my 2 cents.

btw. sony doesn't suck, they all suck if it is installed into the wrong application.

Agreed.

I would be thrilled to see tha tCivic break a 145 on the new TermLab, but you guys gotta get out and prove yourselves. In contradiction to your own thoughts, you are the competitors who aren't making the drive up to Edmonton.

Some of us (regardless if it's a 10" sub in extreme class, that had to be hauled via trailer) are making that drive to every single comp.

Make the effort, and I'll be the one praising you all to hell when you are still winning those events.

PS. That will involve beating out a fairly loud Jeep Grand Cherokee... but if you want it badly enough, you can do it.

Ya know , I could be Bragging about how I Did a 148.5 at the edmonton visions show last month with 6 12" Thump! woofers from XS cargo that cost me $18.99 a piece in a 18 cuft wall, but i don't do I and Thump! is considered "crappier" than sony. just my .02 ( just goes to show that any sub in the right application will perform)
