I'm from Edmonton. Nice to see some locals on here.

Has anyone been to the new store on Argyll where International Stereo use to be? It's a few blocks from Autotemp.

Red Deer

I live in Red Deer but I was an Edmontonian for 5 years not too long ago - and yes, I have donated some cash to FX Audio as well...

If anyone wants to post anything about a meet I might be in if it is on a weekend.

From what I can gather most if not all of the serious comps. have moved to BC. It's ok we domanated them for an few years. The locals allways put on an few shows during the summer. If not we can bend an few ears to make ya happy.

Personaly I got carried away a few years ago in that I went to 95% of the shows in the region. It paid of in friendships and of course knowledge. Competing at the worlds level was well an must at least once in your life time.

That being said ya lets get together this spring/ summer and chew the fat! Any one have an idea on place or time?

Go to http://www.members.shaw.ca/calgarycc/ is an calender I use to plan my outing's.

Ya, I'm totally up for some meets in Edmonton this summer.

Also Steve, how's the explorer coming along. I heard not long ago you did like mid 140s on that cheap equipment you were using. I hope we can have at least a couple shows this summer even though Ray won't be too involved.

The Explorer is kinda on hold. Having way too much fun on the new an improved Mini ( spent 4 k on it this winter ). I do have an recently aquired 5k amp just need to put in the order with ray for my subs. The box works extremly well with the "cheep " stuff so just an swap and retune are in order. For the record 136 with 2 $10 10's and 300ish watts. 145+ with the same box with DD's and 3k. No tuneing just bang it in an buuuurp. I see an Bass race Explorer coming this year and Alex my 11 year old will be it's navagator.

50% edmonton guy and 50% small town hick.

i make trips to edmonton quite alot. atleast once a month. more then willing to make a detour for coffee at timmy's though. i'll be in the city this weekend, but can't give an exact time. so i won't be able to meet up with any of you guys.

this weekend is going to be quite heptic. if i had a soild schedual that wouldn't change on me this weekend then i would most certainly stop for a bit.
