all you need to do is call AQ directly and tell them you're american then have your gear shipped to "Ship Happens" across the border in sumas. They charge $4 per box to hold it for you, go across and pay them, pickup ur woofers...bring em across and pay the taxes and you save about 3 weeks in shipping and about 30% markup. Just be sure to have documentation of the costs when you go across so that in the event there isnt a receipt in the box you can still bring your goods across back into canada.

its like $75 shipping costs if i get it delivered to my house directly

Plus brokerage fees, plus duty, plus other additional fees. One sub @ $300 usd plus $75 usd shipping comes to $375usd but when its all said and done to your door you could be paying upwards of $500-$550 cdn depending on how the dust settles. Plus the time it takes to get across the border.

Hence when I suggest my way of doing things which has saved me literally thousands of dollars over the years and a ton of time. Not to mention getting better and more available customer service from companies who think you're American.
