I appreciate that randy , means alot coming from a highly respected guy , I never said I was the loudest or said my score from last year was that good I was proud of my car and my scores last year and I know theres lot of room to improve , but I dont think betting somone a couple grand has anything to do with car audio I go to shows to have fun and meet new ppl not to be heckled by ppl I dont even know nor does anyone else , but thanks randy ill take what you said and run with it

and moneys no issue

im completely sure that no new builds this year in canada will be of the world class level in SPL. Riprocks are the only guys who have world class vehicle in canada and i dont see that changing anytime soon unless someone steps up to the plate and imports a panda or does a high dollar superstreet build. Unless you include murilo in his bella.

I cant see any canadians doing the following scores to be world class:

159.5 in street c
161 in stree b
161 in street c
165.8 in street max
165.8 in no wall
169.9 in superstreet 1-2
169.2 in superstreet 3-4
169.8 in superstreet 5+

Realistically its just not gunna happen. Especially with a new build..and the way us canadians build things. im guilty too of cutting corners. But nobody builds a car like the euros do and their scores show.

screw SQ...psyclone is the way to go. SQ guys vs the SPL guys for all the marbles.

i dont see how you can say "everyone has thrown together 150+ cars" when in bc last year there was a total of maybe 8 vehicles total hitting over 150 on the termlab.

Also nothing against you but your build it absolutely doesnt hold up to "any spl install in the world" when you consider the world class guys in your class are 18 db louder than you. And even street A vehicles with 1 amp, 1 sub, and one tiny battery are roughly 8 db louder. You may have a well rounded vehicle but its certainly not world class level in SPL.

But definitely id suggest you try psyclone out. Its the perfect class to judge loudness, and sound quality together. The lower your peak SPL is the more points you get. Just no points for install quality but you're never really going to see a "thrown together" install at that level anyway. Id be willing to bet that clays psyclone score is pretty hard to beat.

Well, it is not so far I think.

My SB will break 160 very soon.

I bought the 169.7 SS1-2 and it will have more power than they had last year.

My other terra I still didnt start any build but will be SS5+

Don, your system was very fun to listen too, a few 10hz songs woke up your subs

The reason why we have a world class #, is because were always working on it. We know our trooper inside and out, always trying to imporve and not to cut any cornors. Even if it means to rebuild for a month or 2 for 0.1db we will do it. At finals we were one of the first ones to show up and were one of the last to leave every night, always working and improving. Since we got home from finals, were putting in some serrious hours in it allready.
Murilo will be a top contender soon with his street B set up and his ss 1-2 car. We know what his amps can do
The A-Team has a world class vechicle too, he proved himself in psyclone (won worlds), and base race (161.8 base race)

To be a top contender is hard work and dedication.

It does say on your avitar that you're from the east side of Canada. I assume you plan on going to b.c. shows from what you've been saying on the forum so if I am correct drop by my side a town mang.
OOpps my bad. I forgot the b.c. part on the avitar disregard my comments.

So we are good on the bet? Loudest guy at western finals wins, our $4000 to you if you win, your $2000 to myself and the scopster if we win. this seems like a great opprotunity to fund a new build if you were to win. $4000 buys alot of gear, or a couple of batteries.
