Better single sub?

I'm a newbie this is my first forum of any kind. I have a sealed 1cuft sealed box. MTX rt2200x (400w rms bridged to 4ohms). I need help deciding between
JL 10W1v2 or MTX MXS1004 or Pioneer TS-W126C or GTO 1202D. Sold my old 10" today, wasn't happy with it. I could easly cut opening in box to fit a 12". Any help or experience with these subs is greatly appretiated. Thanks

I would suggest going to a local shop to listen to what they have to see if you like it in your car.

Spoken like a true shop owner

All kidding aside he is right, but for the money your going to pay for those subs there are better subs out there
The Digital Designs 2500 serires
The FI-BL
The RE-SX
Just buying a sub without hearing it first is a big risk, you should know that from the fact that you were un happy with your last sub

This is for a little daily Bass. I'm on a tight budget only looking at used subs. I have gone with the JBL. I used to have an 8" but it only lasted about 6 months (gain & bass boost cranked to get a decent output but still not very low). Then the 10" wasn't enough so now the 12". Installed yesterday, sounds good but will take it easy for about a week. I needed to fit the sub in the trunk of my 3 series BMW and still fit hockey equipment or golf bag.

I did listen to the 10" but it was in a bandpast box hooked up to my amp, I knew it would sound different (not as loud) in the sealed boxed. But that opens up a can of worms, unless I can here each sub in my car with my set-up I will always be taking a leap of faith buying any sub.
