What is an amateur?
A true amateur ...
5) They don't have a remote
4) They play music and sweeps for the full 30 seconds
3) When they find out that holding may help you gain, you will see 15 people on the car probably causing loss
2) They consider 140 db's REALLY loud
1) They bye their equipment at XS Cargo
Intermediate
5) They use their remote
4) They play a single frequency
3) They hold certain spots on the vehicle to gain
2) They hit over 145 db's in Street and Stock
1) They get their equipment and enclosures from pros

k guys, i'm going to clear up some confusion..
the 5 reasons if you are amateur or intermediate are more or less suggestions..
I'm going to make this very clear as well..
The Amateur division is for amateurs to give them a place to play where they don't need to get slaughtered by the veteran competitors.
The dbdrag event is for the more tentured competitors who have either been doing this for a while, have had help from people doing this for a while, or have a gift of spl
Generally not many real amateur will ask if they are an amateur.
We do reserve to bump anyone who we feel are attempting to take advantage of the amateur class (we have to be fair). We have brought something new to the table, we have 2 shows going onto the same venue on the same day at the same time. We do this for the competitors to attempt to make it fair for all. Please show your support and go into the appropriate division and don't try to push the rules, we are going out of our way to help YOU (the competitors).
If anyone is really undecided if they are an amateur or not, please send me a PM or e-mail, it is not something to be discussed on here.

We just don't need people just getting started with 2 12's and a 100 watt amp going up against people breaking 153's that has been doing this for years.. it's all to try to make it fair for everyone
