I know what show your talking about I wqas there like 4 years ago? It was in the Rodgers centre and it was amazing cars with audio/video setups worth like millions in some cars.

It was the autotrader show not sure the real name of it. Think it was just called AutoShow because of AutoTrader sponsored it. It was real tho.

 

I remember hearing about Importfest quite some time ago. I never went though , but I heard it was a lot, LOT of ricers. It's pretty much a show for them.

Kennedy Commons in the summer is probably better anyways. DaVibe knows what I'm saying. Still a lot more like a car show though, good handful of tuners and muscle cars, and exotic cars. Few stereos here and there.

 

Ha, yeah different shows entirely. The Autoshow (by Auto Trader this year) was just a new car show ... setup by the manufacturers ...
But THESE car shows are cars already on the market ... and they're heavily modded.

Yeah, Importfest has been at the Rogers Centre but more recently has moved to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. They're similar but they're different. I liked Performance World BETTER because there were more elements, not just the riced out cars ...
At least at Performance World, people were demoing their cars too ...

The show was weak, better in year's past. I don't know what happened, but they had a stage, no one was using it. Not enough cars.
Wow, just unimpressed really. Oh well.

 

Yea, I had a couple friends who went and came back very unenthused. Said it wasn't horrible, but definitely not great to any extent.
