why arent there more of you getting involved with the homegrown subwoofer build off this could be awsome check out the donut shop and get involved.

 

I've read the other thread but what exactly are you planning on doing? Recreating the Mythbuster mechanicaly powered sub, or just trying to create as high a SPL at a very low Hz with regular car audio equipment?

 

kinda but on a different premace like to see some teams get together have a build off and a spl contest durring one of next years shows maybe strike some intrest in the fine sport we are involved in show the guys that dont compete that there is some comrodery amoungst us all and have some fun . I there is enough intrest shown then we can draw up some rules and maybe have a design lobby of way to power our uber woofers ie a small generator with some bike sprokets and gears on a shaft or what ever Im just trying to light a fire under some of us who seem to have lost the passion or for got about when we would get together build something for the hell of it not to get points and crap you know what I mean.. I sure hope someone does....

 

and one thing is we would be building the subs just like th show just better cause I know we all think we can do a load better.

hey man no one is interested but if your from barrie we could build it and see what it does .Im from angus drop me a pm if ya want and figure out how to blow the roof off of a car.
