The Radium hot springs car show is this weekend. I am flying through Cranbrook, and will once more talk to the guys at the audio shops. As James put it on the phone don't worry about the turn out...What ever happens will be great....and I heard the weather is supposed to be great.

 

lol will.... I am just trying to make sure there is actually a good turn out for bills show. I like to have some people to compete against, I really get kinda turned off by spl when I show up and have no one to compete against. For me spl is like going to the drag races and seeing who is faster. But when i show up and have no one to compare my car against I get bummed cause its not quite as fun. I know, I know sounds like i just wanna be able to kick someones *** but who knows maybe there is someone in the area with a louder trunk, but only time will tell.

 

there's still a bit of time, should I throw some gear together to beat you??? lol

well Will that would be up to you. but i am sure whatever you have isn't even in comparison to my gear for quality so i would expect to be beat. plus you know your crap allot more then i do. I am not even sure i will be anywhere near what i was when i was in vancouver, pretty sure center port and sealed off might have hurt my score.

 

no worries...I'll be bringing the swift....ironically it seems my $250 car is the one I trust most on long roadtrips.

bill, I look forward to competing against you but I think we'd be in different classes....the swift is classed as modified 2000-4000 with the bigger amp.......I think....in usaci

 

I'm not sure but the amp I'm running is the ss -xxx4000 (I traded some gear and got it back)...The amp runs at 2200 watts @4ohms ...14.4volts ( I think)??? We might end up in the same class??? So do I get some kind of ??? No time to test and tune so this should be good for 10db...I think we did a 144 last year in the civic, compared to your 152ish last year....you would have won with a 9db ....LOL

Well the show is a week away looking forward to it and looking forward to a good turnout for bill hopefully. Built my box for the show yesterday so will see how I do.

 

Im definitely a go for this show. Hoping to get my box carpeted beforehand, if not ohwell lol. Ive heard from a few people I could hit 145.

I dont know much about the comps, but I believe we are put in power level classes?

Now, I got a T2500 rated for 2500@1Ohm but the birthsheet says 3154@1Ohm... Soo how would I be classed?
Either way my box is specifically built to my daily likings, not SPL, so I doubt Ill stand much a chance against most of you guys...
