CRX build...step 1, install wire part 1
So I learned a two things in this step I thought I would pass on...first, if you think cutting a hole in the firewall with a rotozip and a wood cutting bit is a good idea, you are wrong. Second, if you want to buy spools of wire don't buy 25 foot spool because the wire ends up keeping remembering the shape and so is all twisted and a pain. The blue wire is off a 100 foot spool and can easily be straightened, the black wire is off a 4 25foot spools and basically returns to the position you see in the car as soon as you let go of it. Obviously running the wire isn't done yet but I am tired and my back hurts from having to lean over cause the car is so low. So anyway here are some progress pics, 8 power and 8 grounds.

well I hope the intake will go back on...I can't see many other ways to run the wire though so I am hoping it will go on, if not there is alot of wire I can pull through to re-route as needed. I already cut the hole in the storage bin it will go in from underneath.

I wasn't planning on using any kind of grommit but I am thinking about doing something to the sharp edge there so it doesn't cut into the wire...I may get something and just jam it between teh metal and the wire...I will have to think about it because pulling the wire out will be a huge pain, its in there pretty tight. As far as the rotozip goes it was not a good idea but I didn't have anything else that would fit in the small space and still manage to cut in a controlled fashion.

I would be sure to make a grommet for where that runs through the firewall man, all it would take is a bit of vibration or movement while driving and you got one heck of a dead short, then not to mention possible fire or battery explosion just to name a few of what could happen.
Just take some Vacuum line or heater hose and split it down the middle and push over the metal all the way around and you then have a safe rubberized edge.
