I actually have to agree with Frank on this, Silicone on its own will not work WELL!!(it will work, but only for a short periiod of time) the vibrations and so on would make it fall off! I have tried this as well(as im cheap and always looking for a cheap way out) Cording tube I found works well, but thats just my 0.02

I did this as well, and I ended up cutting into one of my runs of 0ga into my car, good thing (literally thankful) it was a ground and not a positive, Check into it!!

Mine is the power +. :P At least it's fused within 6" of the battery with a 250ampere fuse.

i wouldnt put the blocks in the rear tray as i think it may be illegal to the rules , just run it back and around under your speaker location then put your amps there.
