i love the fact that i could go and compete against yuli in a low power class and possibly beat him. now thats unlikely but ya never know. There are a few beginners this year that have the right idea, they come out to the shows, they LOOK LISTEN AND LEARN and dont whine and moan about not winning, they do something about it.

I think maybe the best thing is that you can only enter into a CSPL event OR the DB Drag event not enter into both the same day, I believe that is what adam is really referring to, I thought the CSPL was started for the every day stereo guy not people who travel to every event to get points and be the nunber one guy all the time, personally I couldnt care because I know the money involved and time invested to becoming number 1 or even for that matter this number 3 lol its all about fun and I just dont see the CSPL being the same as it once was

well if a person "A" doesnt go to a show and become number one, then person "B" will. there will always be number one, and there will always be only one number one.......thats how competitions go. the rules are the same for everyone. if your gear is not as good as everyone else's then thats on you. if your knowledge is lacking then just learn.

thats like giving 2 of the same race cars to 2 different people and one of them looses cuz he cant drive stick and then complaints about it. if the human element is the one thats lacking i dont think complaining will help much.

i want to know what exactly you guys think is unfair? also, how would you propose to make it more fair?

Having a league that doesnt allow true spl enthusiasts to compete in is more unfair than competing against an spl enthusiast that has more knowledge, better equipment and is louder than you

I agree yuli but again then keep db draggers out of the cspl because I remeber the very first event richard threw he said this league is meant for the smaller time stereo people not for the big time spl guys and if you look at all the events since the beggining of this year the same top 3 guys have been winningsame as last year, if thats the case of letting anyone in then thats cool but you cant say its for everyone when the same guys keep showing up and winning because then its not, I know where I need to go and what I need to do to get to that level and im not willing to spend the money on doing that, but I am also trying to help explain the whole subject a little better for adam who started this thread

jigga i bet if when you go to a show with your wall you scare the living day lights out of all the noobs.

say the top 3 guys in cspl are gone. there will be a new top 3 guys, same guys who were 4th, 5th, and 6th. but whats gonna happen to the guys that were lower? they will still be at the bottom and will still complain.

do u suggest that all the guys who have louder boxes not compete in cspl? my idea was to have classes devided by spl levels. something like 120 to 130, 131 to 140, 141 to 145, 146+. and if u go over a certain db mark u are automatically in the higher class. but im sure there would be people finding it unfair still.

cspl is still a competative league, there is no need to make it into special olympics.

well my 2 cents

last year i started doing a big 137 with 300wrms and got my *** handed to me every show but i still kept going to every show and learning from the pros and just reworking my stuff i ended up winning the season championship. all it takes is time not alot of money, the only thing i bought new was an amp but i need it and i started doing 146+. and last year the only pro that came to the shows was les.

if i had to restart, i think this year is better because more people show up, last year i remember going to shows and only three of us would show up.

if you take out the pros how are the noobs going to learn and how is this sport going to grow.

Richard has done his best to put out more shows then anyone and i thank him for that but he cant make every noob happy. And im not knocking noobs because im still a noob and i still have alot to learn.

O well how to make it fair ok i got it everyone comes in first and no one loses and we will have tons of fun right well at that point i give up because there no competition left and that all why we do this.

if you want to compete and i stress compete some one will win and some one will lose and someone will always complain
