I beg to differ, in Kamloops we had 43 competitors over 250 spectators...that's a pretty good turn out. Everyone elso said its was the best car show Kamloops has ever had...with in 6 months, Krazy Eddies will be holding a SQ event. That is a bigger turn out than any comp in AB and BC...

250 spectators? Are you kidding? I was there and there was no where close to that many. Most of the people were competitors hanging around waiting to go through the lanes. It sure doesn't look like 250 people in this pic...
Anyway, I do give credit for Krazy Eddies for holding that style of event, and from what I understand it was the biggest event Kamloops has ever seen and thats my point. This should have happened a long time ago.
When I first moved here I went around to every shop in town trying to get people to hold sanctioned shows, explaining to people that the turnout would be far greater than your previous shows. I offered to held judge or anything else they may need and everyone just said "no we like things the way they are". Nobody wanted to invest the money to do it as they all saw it as money out of their pocket and not an investment. There are alot of people in Kamloops that have the systems to compete. But nobody is willing to hold shows. Now maybe this has changed with Krazy Eddies, I won't hold my breath for an SQ show cus they have been saying that for 2 years.
If they do hold a show, I will deffinatly put some finishing touches on my system so its competion ready again and go to support it. I will also lend a hand judging if needed.
