So I may be blind but I cannot see any area on this site to post for employment opportunities. Now of this is against forum rules let me know but like I said I cannot find anything about this. However if it is against forum rules then anyone have any ideas where to find an installer in the Ottawa area? We've been looking for over six months now.

Alrighty so JordyO has given the stamp of approval for me to actually post the job.
Basically I am in dire need of part time installer to work at the Kanata Best Buy. The hours right now that are needed to be filled are evenings and weekends.(approx 20+hours hopefully)
Now I know that there is a stigma about big box installers in general and I have to agree with it for the most part. There are a bunch, of let's call them "inexperienced" installers working in the boxes who are making a bad name for all big box installers.
Long story short is that it is not the same at every store. I have worked with some of the worst out there and some of the best and as of right now the full timer I have is definately one of the best. He has a wealth of experience with the majority of the private shops in Ottawa and he is also fully willing to train someone who is either green or simply needs a little bit of help.
Without going into a long boring description(which can be found at monster.ca --> just type Best Buy as the keyword and kanata as location) Basically its a part time spot with an excellent chance of turning into bigger and better position depending what you want to get out of it. Last thing I'll say is that it is no commission at all which means when there is no work you still get paid which to me is an excellent thing.
Check out the ad and if you're interested either fill in the online application and start the process and/or come and check out the store. The installer is there mon-fri 10-6 if you want to talk to him or I'm in there basically everyday.
