THE FIRST IASCA TRIPLE POINT EVENT IN EASTERN CANADA!!!
Lets support IASCA competitions! In my opinion,Its the best spl league beacause its not about making money! Its about having fun and sharing our hobbies to others! And you couldn't ask for a better person then Moe to run the IASCA shows!
I'll tell you, as most will, 50 bucks for a triple point event is pretty cheap... most triple point shows (and I'm not trying to compare to any particular show) will usually run between 75 and 150 bucks.
As far as I know, the 50 bucks is the only fee to get in. I'll be calling PACER to confirm that today and as soon as I have the answer I will post it on this thread.
The show is at Mosport in Bowmanville, about 15 minutes outside of Oshawa, so it's about a half an hour away from you in Port Hope.
Hope this helps!

i have never ever been in a show???,what class would i be in???
do you think i would hit a pretty good score????
i just don't know about $50
,so does this mean i only get 3 points if i win
Hi odd one, if you've never competed before you're in for a treat, the competitors you're going to meet are some of the nicest people on the planet and they'll be more than happy to help you out for your first time competing...
As long as you don't work in the audio industry, you would compete in Stock division; depending on how many subs you have, as ntensecustomz asked, will determine what class in Stock division you'll be in. If you're running one twelve, you'd be in Stock 1 class, two twelves would put you in Stock 2 class, three twelves or more would put you in Stock 3 class. There are other rules that will determine what division and class you'd be in, but from what's described in your signature, it's a good bet you'll be in Stock division.
Do I think you'd hit a pretty good score? Unfortunately that's impossible to say until you compete for the first time, but most first time competitors with two twelves (as an example) will normally hit between 130 and 140 dB, which is quite respectable.
What you'll find at these events is that it doesn't really matter what you hit, or where you place, as long as you have a good time. Like I said, you'll meet some of the greatest people at the show and many will be more than happy to help you out. Talk with the guys at insane hertz, Chris Barclay, Yuli, Jeff, and Dan, they're first class guys who will give you a hand. Unfortunately, as the head judge for the event, I can't help you tweak your vehicle, because it would be considered a conflict by IASCA rules, but after the show I can offer you as much insight as you'd like, I'd be glad to help.
I hope to see you there!

OKAY...... HERE'S THE SCOOP.....
I just got off the phone with Mathew John from PACER, who gave me the details. IASCA registration is $50.00 and with your registration you receive one weekend pass (valued at $40.00). Any passengers who are with you for the weekend must pay for their passes. The $40.00 price is for the whole weekend's admission, which is Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you're coming for just one day, the entry in to the grounds each day is this; Friday - the show is open from 5pm to 10pm and entry at the gate is $10.00; Saturday, the show is open from 10am to 10pm and the entry at the gate is $25.00; Sunday, the show is open from 10am to 6pm and the entry at the gate is $15.00. The awards ceremony is at 3 pm on Sunday.
For people attending the judges training on Saturday, IASCA will reimburse you $10.00 towards your entry into the gate, so your registration fee for the judges training will be $65.00 instead of $75.00. I have to apologize, I wasn't aware that there was an entry fee into the grounds for spectators, so for this reason we are offering the discount.
If you have any further questions, email me at moesab@iasca.com. Thanks.

HAHAHAHA...this is funny. I just got off the phone with Mathew also, not 5 min ago. Just came on here to post it and you beat me to it Moe.
Also, if anyone like Martine and I has already bought your weekend passes because you didn't know you get one free with your entry to the comp you can get your money back for the unused pass at the gate.
Here is the link to the competitions pre-registration form that you can fax in:
