As long as you don't work in the audio industry, you would compete in Stock division; depending on how many subs you have, as ntensecustomz asked, will determine what class in Stock division you'll be in. If you're running one twelve, you'd be in Stock 1 class, two twelves would put you in Stock 2 class, three twelves or more would put you in Stock 3 class. There are other rules that will determine what division and class you'd be in, but from what's described in your signature, it's a good bet you'll be in Stock division.

Do I think you'd hit a pretty good score? Unfortunately that's impossible to say until you compete for the first time, but most first time competitors with two twelves (as an example) will normally hit between 130 and 140 dB, which is quite respectable.

What you'll find at these events is that it doesn't really matter what you hit, or where you place, as long as you have a good time. Like I said, you'll meet some of the greatest people at the show and many will be more than happy to help you out. Talk with the guys at insane hertz, Chris Barclay, Yuli, Jeff, and Dan, they're first class guys who will give you a hand. Unfortunately, as the head judge for the event, I can't help you tweak your vehicle, because it would be considered a conflict by IASCA rules, but after the show I can offer you as much insight as you'd like, I'd be glad to help.

I hope to see you there!
Thankyou Moe ,i do have 2 kenwood 12's plus an infinity 12 but i don't want to run 3 subs of one amp plus that other 12 is my sq sub with it's 14 one way xmax .I thought stock ment you have stock speakers, headunit etc.Im new to the hole thing (LOL).

well thanks for the offer but i don't really let anybody touch my stuff unless i really trust them.I don't need anybody playing around with all my gains.

so how do these points work???,so lets say i get 140 you X that by 3 140x3=

I will really see how my money is to see if i can go.i might go to Darknights if i don't go to this show.

hey!

The point system for IASCA works with how you place.. a single point even you would get 10 CAP points for 1st place, 9 CAP points for 2nd place, 8 CAP points for 3rd place, and so on and so on... (10th place gets 1 point).. for a triple point event such as this one.. I beleive you get a "certified" score as well as 3 times the points (30 CAP points for 1st place, 27 for 2nd, etc..)

But like Moe said.. it'll be a great event.. it should be lots of fun.. and there are tons of people always willing to help out!

Hope to see you there!

HEY ODD ONE,

The best advice that I can give you is to start off small.. 1 12" will put you in stock 1 and 2 12" will put you in stock 2. If you make it to a show, you will find that there are not many secrets from the guys. It will give you the chance to learn. Nobody has to touch your stuff but you. If 5 guys give you the same answer, then chances are that you should try. You can look for any Insane Hertz member and we will help you find the answers that you are looking for. We are here to help! The only secret that I hold is from Yuli, How do you run 3 10" in Stock 1? Insane Hertz and Moe knows the answer to that! And you can too! Come on out and have a great time this weekend! We will! Come out and see how you do! That is what it is all about!

I'd just recommend in going into whatever class your stereo puts you into instead of changing it for a show.. then maybe after going to a few and getting the hang of it, if you like it then pick a class.. sometimes starting off "small" can be very discouraging because usually the smallest class has the most competition (expect for the last 2 shows )
