Help out a fellow car audio enthusiast!
A cap will help stabilize your voltage to the AMPS. CAPs just get a bad rep since people don't use them properly.
I would at least try to upgrade your ground connection on the battery. Most of the time the factory battery terminals are .

Lol. I usually don't like to break into the whole inductance/capacitance of an electrical system to people that don't really care. People usually only care about the effects of adding equipment and not how it works.
ADDITION
Capacitors can only store a voltage as high as the supply can provide. A capacitor is a great "cushion" to momentary voltage drop but thats all. A capacitor is designed for instantaneous discharge. Depending on how severe your voltage drop is and how prolonged it is, a capacitor may or may not help. Upgrading your electrical system (especially big 3, battery and alternator) is much more likely to fix your issue.

Here is a link to the Big 3. Basically it is running a heavier gauge cable at 3 points:
1. alternator positive to battery positive
2. battery negative to chassis
3. engine ground to chassis
Overall, it improves the possible current flow from your charging system to the rest of your electrical system.
