Just make sure the high school losers don't show up and spoil it for everybody. Port Kells used to be huge as well, until the losers showed up and took over. Alcohol, drugs, fights, burnouts, etc. It looks like the RCMP and the local businesses are trying to make it work over at the Java Hut. I hope there are enough of the more serious auto enthusiasts there to ensure the losers stay far away.

I know last summer it was going strong every Friday but I guess I can't really say before that since I didn't go to any of the cruise-ins then or know about them. Its pretty tame though from when I've been there but I've never stayed past 8:00 or so. I remember last there seeing a whole lot of rubber at the exit going out but I see they have speed bumps there to so maybe those are new. It's a great little show though and there's some pretty damn nice iron in the area that's for sure. One thing I like about living in Langley is the amount of good ole American V8 Iron that is around the area.

its usually around 9 when the younger guys are leaving and usually do burnouts at the exit which is what ruins it for everyone.
The speed bumps are pretty harsh. I wouldnt be able to make it in there with my wagon anymore, im sure there are many others who are keeping their cars away from java hut for the same reason.
At the same time the rcmp put that yellow gate up which blocks the entrance if closed. Last year they were closing it at like 8 pm and had a sign saying no hot rods allowed. Which takes away huge business from Java hut itself. I heard the owner had to sell the place

i can never figure out when the friday meets there start... i watched the first spl/sq comp i've ever been to today(surrey the 14th)! SCN was good also.
i don't often stop by this site, but i really should more often seeing as i live in Coquitlam and it's nicer to be able to talk with locals. if i actually went for my N test i'm sure i'd be at shows more often.
