I'm looking to spice up my show with some different attention seeking events. We've already looked at: **** stars; wet t-shirt contest; a live band and have declined them all.
We were looking more for interesting ideas to promote the sq side of it to get more people involved in that part.
I thought about putting the mic and a video on the competitors while they're doing their presentation. This way everyone gets to know: how to present; what information to not forget; some inside scoop on what the pro's do and an overall idea on what is really going on.
I would like more ideas, even if they are insane!

If you have the lot space, contact the local RC shops and see if they can organize a quick onroad or drifting demonstration for that day. It's short notice but maybe Norm at RaceTech or one of the other local shops would be interested in a co-promotion. It's a good crossover as both activities involve guys who spend money on toys It keeps spectators around too.

That's a great idea Paul. We have 3 guys in the shop with those toys. They'd be more than happy to perform in front of a crowd. I also have clients with these cars. I'll ask them to bring theirs too. This should be lots of fun! Thank you.
