IASCA Western Championship RESULTS
#41
I personally also knew the 6 pusher rule as I know some of the rules quite good because of worlds! I was unaware of the bolted boxes in iasca as I don't compete IASCA as a favoured sanction, but would have only taken 5mins to slap an L bracket inplace had it been enforced! There was also sit ins in dbdrag which aren't allowed which I didn't like but since my opponents were so did I, I couldn't be bothered to enforce that rule as it didn't matter to me it was a diff of .3db in my case.. I know for a fact! So much bitching about a show that was decent. I had a great time at the event even though I lost about 1700 to car problems! I didn't get there and bitch about anything that went on, I did my runs smiled at my mediocre score and shook a lot of great peoples hands. Competing isn't about pointing fingers and bitching about stuff, if there were probs they should been pointed out at the beginning when cars SHOULD have been inspected and any adjustments should have been made. Its done and was fun, why not leave it on a plus side and quit fighting, because its really starting to make the comp come accross as a sham and the westerners as crybabys! I as a westerner would just like to be known as someone who tried to do my best! I really enjoyed meetin up with all new and old faces alike:] but would like to see some IASCA scores LOL

1-the time for discussing rules enforcement really SHOULD have been during the event, not after it. If you see something wrong and say and do nothing then you must approve... ALL issues should be resolved AT THE SHOW because they sure cant be resolved on this forum. Judges have a difficult job and shouldn't mind a rules reminder (but don't be a cry baby either), please try to maintain a helpful demeanor as they are VERY busy.
2- complaining about the belts cost???? what has cost got to do with it?? that is the most unique award I have ever seen, a lot of time and effort went into it. The cost includes; the item, taxes, shipping, duties, and I am sure there was even custom engraving... that is a weak complaint. You compete to win, and you are rewarded with an award... the cost of it should be a non issue.
3- ever notice when these he said/ she said things come up on a show (the winner followed the rules/ no they didnt) they sound like they went to different shows?
