Why now is it illegal?...is there a motive other than fair play or is this car just too damb loud for you?

You go over a car to check for "illegal" mods and find the car to be legit, then the next week you say its firewall is illegal, then this weekend the car isnt even at the show and you deem it illegal becuase of a spare tire cover ""made to be removed" has never been in the car. The same car has been to shows in Canada and USA and been Judged by psychoacoustics And the Canadian version over and over and over!!!

Sorry bart but I don't ever recall telling jesse his car is illegal. What I do recall is me talking to dave and jesse listening in and getting pissy because of rule 3-10a. Be prepared for all rules being tightened up. I've been pretty leinient with u guys and u wanted more and more. That stops now. If your car is questionable get it right or be prepared to get bumped. Be prepared for in depth audits world finals style. U want it like finals your getting it like finals. Audits and all. That means indepth audit before qualifying of all vehicles, after winning your round, and after setting a record. If anyone refuses instant DQ. You all brought in on with your constant whining and crying when I let u all compete missing panels visors carpet. Bring tools everyone your gonna need em.

10-3 Only current dB Drag Racing members may set World Records.
think u mean 3-10a
Modifications to the passenger compartment are prohibited.
Additional Guidelines:
•The OEM headliner (or an equivalent replacement) must remain in place. Grille cloth, box carpet, etc. may not be attached directly to the sheet metal of the roof in lieu of the headliner.
•The OEM door panels (or an equivalent replacement) must remain in place.
•The OEM carpeting (or an equivalent replacement) must remain in place.
•Cut-throughs in pickup trucks are not permitted.
•Sound damping materials may be used to reduce vibration when installed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended installation instructions. The maximum total thickness of sound damping material applied at any given location may not exceed 5/32 inch (4mm). The sound damping application may consist of mat-type material, spray-on material, or a combination of the two. A maximum of 2 layers of mat-type material may be used at any given location, even if the total thickness of the sound damping material(s) is less than 5/32 inch (4mm).
•Expanding foam may be used sparingly throughout the vehicle to seal small openings or reduce vibration, but may not be used to fill voids or other large cavities (such as the dashboard or doors).

That's correct mat. At 2009 finals where mat and I officiated ALL judges judged EVERY vehicle and ALL rules were strictly enforced. Meaning trunk carpet and spare tire covers (or equivelant replacement) MUST be there and were. I don't recall anyone from canada other than jessica being there to witness the judging process. As I said from this point on ALL rules are to be strictly enforced. I tried to make it fun and laid back while giving competitors little jobs between shows to build up to a totally legal vehicle. You still whined and complained. So much for being the nice guy. I could have and looking back should have dq'd jesse, dj, bart, and many others at every show this season. Bart, I hope u got those visors and headliner in. Jesse and dj get those trunk covers in, dj ill be looking for hidden batteries. Jesse and dj fix your deadener. You guys had a free ride to finals but u just couldn't see past your ego's. Time for u to experience the audits I went through. Believe me your gonna wish u kept your mouths shut and rode the easy wave to championships.
