i know the majority of the guys in central canada, and hit up all the comps possible....

but id really like to make it out to alberta once this year, and was curious if any spl comps will be going on late september or october? if so, id try to get a bunch of manitoba guys to come out, but either way ill be there. sactionized, non-sactionized doesnt matter to me. and no rush in letting me know at this point neither, otherwise, ill forsure see you all next year! ill for sure try and get as many as possible, id liek a rather large event no matte rhow well i did... as for beating me, meeh, from what i see your scores are 1 db higher or so,a nd i guess some higher mics looks ot be nearly same. then again, thats my reason for coming out, just to compared a young punks ghetto fablous creations to the rest of canadas can anyone help me out with a number for the september 21st event? or some other stuff that is goign on, as in parties afterwards etc, etc....

I ran this idea past Westec at one point,but it never came to life....

..oh yeah....and no...I'm not trying to start up with the 8 track thing again....

You guys are talking about having a sub toss..How's about having an 8 track toss??

Lay a sub on the ground or on a table(whereever)and then have a competitor stand lets say 10' back(rough idea..)and then he/she has to toss the 8 track cartridge into the sub and get it to stay there....

If the sub is small enough(even a 10"),it will be extremely difficult to keep the tape from sliding or bouncing out...

What ya think everyone?

thanks aaron, but ill prolly come in and leave, or come out for a bit and stay somewhere at a buddies in calgary or something. ill call that guy, and be sure to find out more. if other stuff is happenign that weekend let me know
