No, playtime is over -- it was time for me to start doing "grown-up" work again. ;)

Lol Mike - I have no choice you set your self up for it:

"grown-up" work ... Ractive, Eurolite, Roadboy
:D

Claudio Piccolo 04-30-2005 09:50 PM

Sweet, hope you are not growing up too much Mike

MECP ? Bleh.
It depends on a few things for me to hire someone:

1) Enthusiasm
2) Creativity
3) Efficiency (speed and accuracy)
4) Attitude

You can have all the skill in the world but if you are a dick who thinks he's hot ****, fuggetaboutit. If I run into any guy who sais he knows it all, I will walk the other way.

Attitude!!! Very Very important.

Need to have a GREAT ATT

i think you could pass the MECP basic without ever having done any installation. the book itself seems fairly basic and from what i hear, the test is the same way

MECP and the MECP Test are stricly based on theory. As we know theory is fine but practial is a WHOLE lot more fun

lol, people who only have theoretical knowledge and are trying to troubleshoot are really funny to watch.

I was once certified, back in 98. Took it through mobile dynamics. Great school. But bein certified didn't help me find an installin job. Hence why I am an apprentice welder. But I still love to do my own installs.
