Need Install Quotes, please.
Alrighty, well I finally managed to get all the pieces of my fiancee's system together. Special thanks to MR2NR, Zotman, and Sasha. The gear will be going in an 08 Hyundai Accent, without the premium sound system.
I have a DLS Ultimate A5 3-channel amp, and a pair of MBQ Premium 6.5" components for the front doors. There is not a stock tweeter location that I can see from inside the cabin.
I already have all necessary wiring for proper installation.
25' of 4AWG Lightning Audio power wire. 4-channel Knukonceptz RCAs. 20' of 18AWG remote turn-on wire. 100A ANL fuse with holder. 16' of 16AWG twisted Knulonceptz Karma Kable speaker wire. The only thing I don't have is the proper wire terminals for ground and power cables.
We're also looking for sound deadening installed in the front doors. B-Quiet Extreme has been mentioned on this board frequently as being a quality product.
The Excelon KDC-x592 head-unit has already been installed.
The subwoofer is a 12" Eclipse SW7200, for which I'd like a quote for a sealed box. We've already made a ported box, but she doesn't like the bulk and would prefer a sealed enclosure.
We live in Brantford, but would be willing to drive as far as Toronto for a perfect install.
PM with further questions or comments.
Thanks.
edit: When my MBQ's were installed, these speakers were not wired directly from the amp... Instead the shop took the easy way and tapped back into the wiring harness to send the signal to the new speakers. We want her Premiums to be wiring directly to the amp.
