Need recommendation on an installer, who do you suggest to go to? GTA only please

Hey guys, many of you have seens my thread about having too much low end bass after hooking up an aftermarket amp and sub, here's the orignal thread:

http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/onli...bass-need.html

Even after installing the Re-Q, it still didn't solve the problem, and didn't sound much different even after playing with the settings.

So I had to keep on searching to get to the bottom of this, and other IS owner's didn't have this problem. So after much searching, and more searching, I think I have found the root cause of this problem. Basically, when I had my amp and sub installed, the shop tapped the aftermarket sub to the rear speaker sub signals, however, it was supposed to be tapped into the front door speakers, because in my car, the front door produces the mids, and the rear speakers barely makes any sound. I will also need to have my factory sub connected too, because it plays some frequencies that the aftermarket won't. The Re-Q was not really necessary, and a 20 dollar Scosche 4 channel LOC did the trick.

So I ordered the LOC, and I am looking to have a shop to re-wire everything to the front door woofers L/R. Any shop you guys can recommend?

Thanks in advance!

I have a IS300 and had all my stuff installed at the futureshop at warden and highway 7.
The guys name is Moe and he's been doing installs for 10 years, he is very good.
I have a LOC I don't need it's yours for free if you want it. It's a Stinger SLOC that I used in my car before I changed the HU so it should work on yours.

hey, thanks guys. there's just something about futureshop that i'm not sure about, mainly because of bad experiences before, and also my friend had a bad experience as well. I'm sure not every store's installer is like that, but i said to myself not to go back after what they did to my previous car and my friend's car....

if i were in your situation, i'd look into a shop that deals with high end cars and oem integration on a regular basis. khf is just around the block from the fs where you went. maybe even kromer downtown.

thanks JordyO.

301a, my system was originally installed by kromers, and I am not going back. people there are so arrogant, that after they installed my system (which they supposed to tap the wires to the front speakers instead of the rear), i went back and complained about how it sounds, the installer told me that's how it is in my car, and that if i am not prepared to drop big dollars on a system with them, don't even start a conversation about it. He started talking about his truck got a 20 thousand dollar system and all these guys come in and drop 7 to 10 grand on their cars...i said if i knew you guys only go after people who wants to spend tens and thousands of dollars, i would never brought my car to you in the first place.

offered to help me out, i'm getting it re-wired saturday, he seems to know a lot about car audio stuff and been in the market for quite a while now, so I think it should work out fine.

Thanks for all your recommendations.
