its not stagged at all , it was kinda random , if he fixes the issue that we have ill have no problem with him what so ever , not asking for much just make good on whats happend , we need every car out at shows if the west is going to be strong again , I dont want to fight with anyone , but I would like dustin to fix the problem

158 off of 4 batts 1 amp and a pairs of 12's? How many watts did you clamp to get that score? Let's see what I did. A pair of 12's that were two years old, two batts, two clicks down and a 157 flat. Your score is not in the least bit impressive if you ask me. But then again you are the new godfather of spl:worshippy

no one questions your support, or at least they shouldnt, no one questions you loyalty, or at least they shouldnt, and to me thats what matters, not what you run, your car, or your numbers, i say let your actions dictate your sucess. to me what you do is more important than what you say! i cant respect all the talk. but i due respect your time, commitment, effort and expense out of pocket for this industry.. so from one friend to another..at the end of the day you have to figure out whats worth fighting about.. some dick head that doesnt like a 157 in a rex, or someone who says you never go to shows.. pick your battles, in the end you still sleep very comfortably on 300 dollar silk sheets, and no one can take THAT away from you.

your the man randy , youve done it all in car audio , and your still going strong , I take alot of pride in that car ive put alot of time into it , it might not be the loudest vehicle out there , but atleast i can say I built it , I do what i can with reguards to the shows , throw prizes out to shows when their is no prizes , why ? , because how else are we going to get more cars out there and get shows back to the way they were , it wont happen without sponsors , ive been called out numerous times , by numerous people and like the last time its not going to slow me down , people like to think i have alot of money, every cent i have goes into competing or ing audio in my area , some choose to go out and get drunk for a weekend and spend a grand , I choose to take that 1000 bucks and spend it on a pair of subs , but when all said and done people are going to hate , and i really dont care their entitled to their oppinions , and so am I thats life , but if my car needs to get louder frankly i think the rest of the west needs to get louder

LOL, I know right ? Just came back after taking along time off from car audio. Amplifier went into warrenty before the creston show & by the time I got it back it was cold and time for the gear to come out of the truck :)

Spring is fast approaching & the new season of car audio competitions is on the horizon so i decided to drop back in and see whatsup :) Apparently this thread has gotten alot more out of hand than it was even when I was watching it lol.

Gettin alot more attention than I ever imagined I would for making it to 1 show & getting 1st place & 2nd place in the 2 catagorys I competed in, But thanks ! :) Now it seems to have turned into an epic pissing match, Where it is some type of free for all ! lol * Sigh / Facepalm !

You dont see this type of attitude from the car audio scene in the states, It is very strange. But for real, Good to see everybody again & those who arnt happy to see me keep on hatin :) I think this community as ahole seriously needs to act alot more professional though not singling anybody out but I Almost quit competing due to this type of .

Will be great to see you all in the new year & get demo's from all your rides ! to all those who I missed @ the creston show I am looking forward to meeting you this year & making alot more friends ! I am here to have a good time & not get dragged down by the high-school mentality type drama that certain people tryed to start after my first event. I want this to be a fun hobby for myself & wont let other people ruin it witch was about to happen before I took my much needed break :) I apolojize to everybody who was expecting me at the creston event & the finals in coquitlam But as things where developing I didnt much think anybody would be interested in me comming on here saying my amplifier warrentyed. Plus all the video updates where on my youtube for anybody who really wanted to know.

april 15 i think the date is theres a show in olympia washington (iasca) , also keith will be doing atleast 10 shows in the lower mainland all iasca , including a west finals , there will also be a west finals in oregon which is around 4 hrs away from vancouver bc , so get your passpoarts

That will be awsome to have 10 shows in the west. Lets hope we get a good slew of competitors at them. My wall should be done mid april, I will be ready for the season after that !

yessir, My enclosure was over 25'' tall anyways would have been considered a wall this year. Going with 4 18''s behind the b-pillars, Just 2 for now off 2 5k's until the new lvl 5 m2's come out then im swapping out my old for the new & going with all 4.

Will just run the 2 18''s in it for now as somewhat a " phase 1 " Should still do me just fine :)

how loud is your current system?

Never had a chance to get this new box metered. My old one I had in for the show at soundsgood last year, I peaked @ 148.9 on music with my old 12v kinetik battery setup.

I screwed the port up bad on the box witch caused the cubic footage of the enclosure to be like 6-7 net after displacement witch in turn screwed the tuning up.

Just a terrible rushed box to try and make the show, Couldnt even do a hair trick. I was lucky enough to still get 1st / 2nd in my brackets.

This new box on 16.8v was doing hair tricks no problem, Makin people bail out & making my front window flex pretty good. I would have to guess it was atleast 150 but saying that means nothing since I never metered it.

154.1 db on termlab with a single XXX-18 I'm going to step up to 2 18's now, different make though.

they seem like good value for $300.00

they are the pro series, the only drawback is the power handling but at the cost of sending a XXX-18 back for warranty to Soundstream in the U.S at a cost of $300 + (shipping, duty etc etc) which is out of the customers pocket, its not worth it plus the company I work for is a PPI dealer win win for me.

Can't u just get a recone kit ?

At the time when the sub went, recone kits had to be purchased directly from Soundstream USA and they had no inventory what so ever and were awaitng their back-order of recone kits to be filled so long story short waiting 3 months is out of the question. This time around , if and when I blow these woofers I'll have Canadian access to recone kits, at my door, next day of ordering them.

Makes Sence and I'll be sure to get a demo off of you at the next show
