i believe that preparation (both competitor and show coordinator/judge)are responsible for an enjoyable show.
having fun and being social are the top reasons i have for participating,as it all leads to finals.
it really doesn't matter which format(iasca,dB drag,meca...)it all is the same to me.
both finals were awsome to have the privilage of participating in,brandyn & i had a great time
damn, them ribs were so good,i missed my lane call
(yes chris,tip #4)

I would have to say Iasca as well for the same reasons as Team Shadow. Out here on the left coast, DB drags are poorly organized and are pretty much a dog and pony show. Iasca however, it top notch and is consistantly solid every single time.
I may change my vote if next season's DB drags steps it up a notch or two.

well the only one's who can step it up a notch are the competitors really.. what makes a good shgow these days? i'd say lots of competitors, and very close scores, where it comes down to ..5-1 db's between 1st and 4th and stuff! now that's fun!

id have to say that it is a not neccesarily the competitors, you are right they do play an important part. but the dealer holding the show is responsible for there show being properly promoted. take for instance, ray choy's shows. he sends me a db drag banner from his shows early on and i distribute it to all compettors out here. Ray well informs us and we decide if we go or not. it starts with the host and then it switches to the competitor. out here is is very different cause it is still new(even though i hear that guys used to hold massive shows out here). there are a total of about 10 guys that do the circuit and some new guys here and there. but for dave o's kelowna show he had 60 some odd cars. he properly promoted it an the turn out was good. its the amount of effort being put in to get the ball rollin, and unfortunately due to the circumstances out here, you dont have the same attitudes. but we all hope that we can make db drags and iasca and usaci as big as it can get out here. in the west west way way west coast.
