Quick question

In NS how loud do you have to be to even bother showing up in the one 12 class?? well actually i have no idea how the classes are determined but do u guys thnik i stand a chance with a type x 12 i wont say what else is running but it works rite good I got close to an inch of flex in the roof of my wagon and i havent got it matted yet but its coming slowly

well u gotta see if there are even any competitions out your way... as far as I know there aren't too many loud cars out there

Alpine type x's aren't designed for spl... giving them too much power will result in a 500 dollar paper weight... just my 2 cents

i have heard alot of people say that the type x's do not like big power yet ive never seen one blow i have one of two in yarmouth mine is receiving 919rms at 2ohm and the other guys is on a pdx1000.1 neither of us has had a problem but hey time will tell but i still get almost an inch of flex hehe and im just getting started with the type x

Slightly off topic, and maybe a stupid question but where did you get alpine out east?
When I lived in NB I was told I couldn't get alpine east of Montreal from every shop I went to.
