well...so much for that idea. i found out a little too late that i had to work until 8:30 on sat night, so i wouldn't have made it to the show until 9:30 which would give me 1.5 hrs to see all the stuff...even with the $2 coupon...it wouldn't have been worth my while...oh well, there is always next year.

Yeah I went last night. Drove down from Edmonton. A few nice cars. Overall a decent event! It's the first car show i've been to other than the ones in PG [img]smile.gif[/img] Fun stuff.

finally woke up after a 22 hour day at the car show. yawn. The Installation Station won three trophies last night. 1st place full size/suv, 2nd place full size/suv, and best display. want to say thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hi and checked out our dj booth in our monster truck. our little shop from Red Deer showed the big city boys what was what. i'll try to post a couple pics in the coming days it was a riot. the best car show i've ever seen in Calgary.

Installation Station? Is that the Dodge Van (and a few rice-burners) I saw at Blue Bays car wash on Macleod about 9:30am yesterday? That's my shop right there, you guys were lookin' right at me, and you looked at the quads & go-karts I sell too.

*kicks self in **** I knew I shoulda walked over and said hi... Geez we were 100ft from each other...

Our booth was pretty busy too, but the customer's car I finished the night before was better recieved by the spectators than mine was. Kinda hurt my feelings....**sniff** I didn't mind the TV interview I got to do for it though!. I definalty loved having the house lights off al day. Really helps the cars look awesome.
