Yes, this is a non-sanctioned event. However, the judges are IASCA trained, and will grade fairly and professionaly.
Here's a breakdown of the classes for SPL:
Cone surface categories are
0-133" - (single 8,10,12,13, dual 8)
134-267" - (single 15, dual 10, 12, 13)
268-" - Dual 15, and up.
First, second, and third in all classes.
SQ: Consumer 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
Pro 1st only.
We will de-emphasise costly installation, with no focus on cosmetic installation.
If you have a safely installed great sounding system, you will be very competitive.
focus on SQ, Install integrity, SPL will count towards your overall score.

no extreme category for heavy hitters. or a wall class? there are gonna be some panties a bunching.

the guys will be unable to compete this weekend as most of our cars are under renovations at the moment, the desire to be there was plentiful, but not enough hours in the day to be prepared adequately, say hi to johnny and boner(kevin) for me
