Good show, I had lots of fun and learned quite a bit also!
I updated my site with some pics.

The score for Team Shadow didn't turn out! I had like 5 pics and not one worked. It must be some kind of LED trick or something I don't know.

Good show. We left after the car show awards so we didn't get to hear who won what for the SQ/SPL classes. The cars on display in front of the store were nice to see but it would have been nicer to see more of the cars parked in the other lot opened up, or what I assumed was Cartunes staff cars sitting on the road in front of the store but closed up. And was the store going to be open? Didn't see the $13k Venti amp anywhere either. Some nice rides there for sure. I liked the two Mustang GTs that Creations built. And I give props to the guy with the black 4-door Blazer for having a nicely-installed and designed, self-built system that could still bang out a number in the high 140s.
And hey, the back end of my yellow truck made it into one of Bidnyk's pics

On behalf of everyone at Cartunes, Kenwood canada, Alpine Canada, and Karz electronics, Thank you all for showing up and supporting the 3rd annual Bash for cash!!!
We had about twice as many people show up than we thought we would, so it was a little slow going, and we could not open the store as a result, but overall it seemed like everyone had fun.
Team shadow did some scary numbers with their civic, and posted a mean 166.5. Best of luck chasing the Canadian record Shadow!
Team Shadow, of course, landed the first place in pro SPL.
--------------------------------------------------
In the 0-133 SPL consumer category, there where 7 cars entered.
3rd place Went to Mike M, and his 1992 240SX. With 1 kicker 12" he hit 139.5db
2nd place went to Milto D, and he did 141.9 in his 1997 sunfire gt, with one PG 12"
1st place in that category went to Jarret W. , and he hit 142.5 with a single 10" kicker!!!
--------------------------------------------------
134-267 consumer SPL, had 15 competitors.
3rd place went to A car that did well in SQ, and SPL. Angie hit 145.2 with 2 focal 33v2's
2nd place went to Christopher and his 1994 GTI, he hit 145.9 on 2 alpine 12"
1st place was on a large margin, and was quite a big score. Justin L, hit 154.2 with 2 12w7's in his sprint. Congrats Justin!
-------------------------------------------------
267+ consumer, there where 5 competitors.
3rd place went to Freddy with his insanely tricked out yellow mazda He hit 145.7db
2nd place went to Taylor S. And he burped a 148.9db.
1st place went to Vick K, and his custom painted Chev astro. I have rarely seen door panels flex like his did! Vick Hit 153.7!
--------------------------------------------------
SQ numbers to be posted soon...

Hey if you wanted to lay some rubber down, you could have always turned left and got a few screeches from when the inside tire lifts as you turn like some of those other cool guys did

it was right under your nose if you were inside the store paying registration at the sales counter. Its back at Karz now though..... sob.
Thanks for coming out guys, I hope you all had as much fun attending as we did hosting the event.
