id rather do 157 plus then have a 150 db demo vehicle any day and this will be the only show ive ever seen that hasnt had idbl so thats fine I will find another show to attend

They are doing IDBL i belive combined with bass boxing, So those who are bassboxing can do the IDBL & get put into their respective bass boxing classes depending on what scores they hit in the IDBL. Aslo it appears we will have medals up for grabs witch is sweet Keith just responded to a PM of mine answering thease issues.

I would rather do 157+ continiously on music than burp it for 2 seconds But to each is there own, I was only sharing my opinion on the matter & how i feel about differant forms of competition, I was not preeching to anybody.

There was no reason for you to get agressive & tell us that money is not an option for you, Nobody questioned how rich or poor you where. I was mearly talking about differant classes / formats & what i personally like best.

as i said you can play music all you want , and if you can do 157 plus on music all the power to you , but thats not why i compete and if keith does idbl then i will be at his shows forsure their always fun events and always have a ton of giveaways

luke and my cars are built for a single purpose, as yours is built for a single purpose. The reason we don't play music on our cars is because of a # of reasons...

1)playing music limits the life of your subs---not all of us want to do re-cones every week
2)haveing a ground pounder is coll and all, but your system is designed for music. if it was designed for burping, it would be DRASTICALLY louder...I dunno what your setup is, but potentially, a systems componants that can play music at 150 has the potential to be designed to burp a 160.

3)I dunno where you get your information from, but the majority of competitors burp. Only reccently has bass-boxing and bassrace become popular, and there are probably 3x the amount of builds that "burp" compared to the ones that play music. Talk to the loudest guys in the world. They get 10 burps off a re-cone. You think they are gonna play music??? you think they'd be pushing 182 dbs if they did???

anyone can throw a bunch of subs, amps, and batteries, into a vehicle and **** off the driver 10 cars ahead of you with your 30hz songs. It takes talent to know the limits of a system, how your car reacts with soundwaves, and have a reliable system to boot-----oh and be loud. Though luke and I aren't the loudest in the world, we are the 2 loudest active competitors in bc. that's why we choose to burp.

btw I run an external deck to my wall, it is an alpine 7904 with NO internal amp. I don't have speakers hooked upto the deck because I'd need another amplifier, which would drain the juice from my 1 12-volt battery my class allows me to have. My swift CAN play music, but it is illogical to set it up for music just for 1 show, and damage my gear, because you need to have speakers playing for bass boxing.

and the thing that makes me upset is that Luke and I are the 2 most active competitors in ALL of western canada, we support almost EVERY show in EVERY sanction from bc to sask. and now there is a local show that we cannot contribute to because our cars are not designed for music. I travelled over 22,000 kms with 2 cars, to events last season. and I had from 1-7 teammates come with me in their cars to compete.

thats just it will and erin bring 7 to 10 cars with them to the majority of the shows we attend , which brings attendance up 10 fold so if will doesnt attend a show and theres 15 cars there with will at this show your gonna be close to being over 30 cars which is huge for a show , we all love to see a demo or a ground pounder but all in all we are db drag and spl at heart , and in my oppinion will doing a 155 plus on a single battery with car off is more impressive then a 57 plus on music wit 10 plus batterys its extemely hard for anyone to acheive that , we travel pretty much everywere and anywere and hopfully we can influence more ppl to get out there and make some shows , to be able to have shows , im very fortionite to be able to distribute products this year so i have accesss to alot of stuff so if anyone that competes on a regular basis needs somthing i try and do my best to give them the best price on anyting i have , so point being everyone is entitled to their stereos and what class they compete in and hopfully more shows will be posted on here soon the more interest from ppl the more shops and ppl will be enthused to have shows ,
