i dont know whats wrong with atomic amps but i know they wont give them to you for free or even for half price, especially if you are a no body.

and by half price i dont mean $1500, cuz thats full price.
Oh im not interested in atomic dont worry :P, i was just curious for the sake of being curious. And for sure who wants to spend that much time doing recones, as little as possible would be best.

the good thing about soundstream sponsorship is that you have a point of contact in Canada, right on this forum as well.

like i said, good companies. if you think atomic is good and there are no clearly better competitor products i wish you all the luck running atomic and reconning it every other day.

I think they do pretty good overseas.....and they are a good company....their stuff would last ALOT longer than kenwood/sony/bassworx, etc. It was just an example, I hadn't said there were not any better products, that's putting words in my mouth.

I've also seen s/s subs crapping out over 154 db. it doesn't make them a bad company though. alot has to do with box design and frequencies. plus some people just have bad luck with certain brands.

Well frankly why would anyone be surprised that people are expecting free products?
50% off is pretty much already available "online" anyway.

It's also funny and also a bit depressing that this thread is full of replys and the eastern one has zilch.

Maybe no one in the east wants to run soundscream.

Seems to me that nothing material has even been really offered yet. Of course people are going to want free stuff. THAT'S WHAT A SPONSORSHIP TRULY IS!!!!!!!!

Anything else is called a DISCOUNT. Do you think Jeff Gordon buys Dupont paint??? do you think Tiger Woods buys his NIKE clothes??? Do you think that ANY sponsored professional pays for travelling expenses????? No, their SPONSOR takes care of that stuff.

All differences aside, I would like to hear what soundstream is putting on the table. Everyone, including myself, is obviously jumping to conclusions as what is to be offered exactly. Untill that happens, and we actually hear from soundstream, I'm just going to sit in silence for now.

If there are talks to sounstream head office though, I would like to reccomend bringing in the sanction they put on in ontario. a bit of backing from a corperation, would definatly bring some exposure onto themselves, I think don is onto something.

Atomic amps suck. Period.

Our team had 5 of them and all 5 have blown. (some with a bit of abuse, some with no abuse at all)

We're talking 2 x 5000's and 3 x 7000's

Even worse than them blowing is the fact that they're VERY difficult to get repaird because Atomic is a PITA to deal with
