Anyone interested in joining a SQ meeting? Kind of a way to kick it off before the season starts for all SQ guys to meet up, share ideas and see how to get more shows and more consumers involved.

Probably no further then langley from vancouver but it would vary and depend on where everyone is coming from to make it even/fair.

Yea sounds good, main reason I said SQ was because our topics of discussion are slightly different and SQ seems to be dieing down and we need to see how to encourage shops to hold more of them but same goes for SPL.

Unless this year the competitions make it worth it for shops to hold, it's just going to drop even more in '08. Meaning shops like publicity when they hold a contest, they want people there and hopefully gain a customer or two.

So far competitions in the lower mainland have been on a slippery slope and is dropping every year because there's 10 cars that come out and no audience. It costs the shop a lot of money and provides them no real benefit.

i hope I can contribute to the scene like I did couple of years ago. I am in the works of opening my own shop and all you guys are welcome to come hang out. I am already planning a show in the spring so lets have our fingers crossed so i can make this happen for you guys and myself. The good thing is that this will be in Burnaby right smack in the middle of the lowermainland so everyone can attend. SQ competitors have always been around but there are not enough shows out to make them dedicate them selfs to make improvments to their sound systems. On the other hand SPL guys are the same here so lets try to push and drive and make 07 a better year for the industry
