I'm going to tell you the story of Mat's beard.

Mat has been a busy man his whole life. He wanted to get into car audio, and realized that he had to sacrifice another time slot of his day to live the dream and (try to) get loud. Therefore, Mat decided to sacrifice shaving in order to get into car audio. The first few days, he only had like 3 minutes to work on his car. Three years later, here we are and Matt devotes the 6 hours it would take him a day to get rid of that tropical rainforest on his chin to getting loud.

 

Also, he spends the $30 a month he normally would use to buy razor blades and shaving cream on coffees for Yuli in exchange for help on getting loud.
