A.S.P.L. Classes
Appendix 1: A competitor is allowed to chose whatever sizes of fusing they would like to run in line on amplifier, regardless of equipment amplifier rating, cone area, sub woofer quantity, number of runs of wire, size of wiring, number of batteries, size of batteries, or any other power supply device. But all competitors must charge at 12 volts and produce such during competition. A competitor may even choose to run un fused (thus putting them in the open un fused class).
Appendix 2: There are NO restrictions on equipment, brand of equipment, number of amplifiers, sub woofers, batteries, capacitors, other power supply devices, or cone area (size of sub woofer). All competitors classes are determined based on their fuse rating on their amplifier, if they should not have a fuse then they are automatically placed in the un fused class, or given the ability to purchase a fuse and place themselves into a class.

If it's closest peak during the entire run... it would be a different format

Now to answer the A.S.P.L. questions, the fusing competition format is something that has been developed to bring a new edge of competition, to sum it up though the sum of the amp fusing ON YOUR AMPLIFIER will dictate your class for the competition, where you will have 30 seconds to play music (or tones based on class) and be loud.

Now for the bass threshold portion, this is NOT, I repeat NOT BASSRACE. The rules for bassrace can be found on it's respective website, where you will find that the competition style is a average of your 30 second run without going over your class. Where as the A.S.P.L. format is where you spend your 30 second run getting closest to your number, without going over, you have a total of 2 runs, and your final score will be an average of the 2 peak numbers of each individual run.
