No it wasnt, 2 amps dropped into a WORLD CLASS van that do a 155, doesnt mean using those amps will ever come close to a 155 in street class where you have limited power, look what it took to get those amps to do a 115..... 20 8V batteries, solid aluminum buss bars, some extremely loud subs in SS class and a box with a tonne of work into it, street limits you to one battery, and even a class like super street 1-2 no wall limits you to eight strapped amps, so if you wanted to do good which amps would you choose? Ones that make lots of power and do big numbers or some sunfrowns?

The best part is, the powerbass' were cheaper then the sundowns are at "Competitor Price"

The PB 3k are not cheaper then the Sundown 1500D or I would be running them right now.

Yes they are, I talked to the people at Sundown when they first came out, I can get the p-bass' for about $100 cheaper.

You guys have done something terribly wrong if that is all the power you got. This is the ONLY test done by anyone that has shown low power output from these amps. Oh wait, thats right, I forgot that you are all impartial and never had anything against Sundown Audio before the test *laughs*
What was the exact test setup? Pics of the wiring? Who set up the controls on the amps? How was the impedance matched from test amp to test amp? Was it even the same or are you still comparing apples to oranges (2 ohm strapped to 1/2 ohm)? Details seem to be sparse on this post.

my car is for daily use. i listen to it almost every day. unlike some peoples systems myne is tuned low to about 29 hz. my subs and port do not face the front of my car which also will make it hard for me to meter well... and another thing is that i dont exactly have a good battery to run my system hard with my car off.
if you want to lend me your tl i would be more then glad to do a 130 with my sundown and clarion setup. thats about all im guessing i would get out of my ssystem and if it meters higher i dont care.
oh and why would i have wasted 50 bucks to get spanked in the street c class?
my excuse this time was a power outage which killed my alarm i woke up around 12, and brad had my amp for his rx7.

I'm not clear what the impedance was... did it rise from 0.5 to 1.5 or did it rise from 1 to 1.5?
