Why not try street A? You seem to have the resources and help available to do fine in the class... I can't think of anyone out west that's doing street A either

i know i could run the 5000.1 and give a right good butt kickin to most around vancouver in street a, but im thinking on a bit bigger scale, not to mention money is a real pain right now... i know the car would do well and i definitely have the team to back me up theres no question there... and actually i sit back and think about it over and over... So i guess it wont really be decided until i actually get an amp which ever it may be...

not that any one knows of... we are all kind of in the dark... all we seem to agree on is that if you showed up and tried to run street stock with a 5k your getting bumped and thats all there is to it... the street stock classes are meant for 'normal' cars not competition stuff right, its supposed to offer a place for the regular guys to compete and not get there butts kicked and end up discouraged from returning to more comps. These classes are designed to help grow the sport, and to be honest with what my car can do with 1k, if i ran a 3k amp id go street stock b just to run with louder cars, or even street a around here just because for the most part the few street A cars in the lower mainland are doing mid 140's...

From termpro site:
"The desire by competitors and manufacturers to sneak within certain boundaries has always been the biggest downfall of this sport.
There was a rule to classify people based on wattage - so cheater amps were created.
There was a rule about amplifier quantities - so multi-board amps were created.
There was a rule about speaker size - so square speakers were made.
There was a rule about batteries - so multi-cells were made."

But are these just people you remember from street A last year? I doubt there will be many legal for it early this year with the new battery and amp regulations. I bought my subs planning to run st. A this year but no dice
