How did I miss seeing about a show Sunday in Cambridge? And where may I ask?

I may just have to stop by, probably not to compete, but to check it out.

So I went, and my visit was short, I had thought of entering but tough to participate when not feeling all too welcomed.

My first experience with a competition, and possibly my last. Needless to say, I didn't realize there were "reserved" parking spaces, until someone in a silver Dodge Neon took a hissy fit that I parked in his spot.

The swearing and cry baby attitude in front of my 7 year old son was greatly appreciated.

So, there's a whole thread on CCA about finding it difficult for "new blood" to join competitions and to visit these events, when a new comer that was simply parking where there was available space, has to move their vehicle to make way, I was no longer comfortable sticking around.

I wouldn't take it to heart, this is why almost everyone shows up early, to get parking. itslike any other event.
However the swearing on this persons behalf is kind of childish.
I remember my first event I went to, it was a very similar expereince, I wouldn't take it to heart.

Thanks. There was parking space available, I just happened to park in some sort of preferred or reserved parking space, since it was empty and at the end/edge of driveway, how was I to know I guess?

What floored me was the reaction, and level of reaction to the fact that someone "parked in his spot". I'll probably be flamed for pointing it out here, but since he felt the need to point out his dislike of someone parking in his spot, I feel the need to point out how it makes someone feel who's never been to one of these competitions.

It's too bad, as hearing a few of the cars, I know mine is just as loud or louder than some I heard. (not the loudest, definitely some of you guys have pretty loud systems!)

I know at some comps people pay for electricity hook up, and that is a good reason to get a lil out of place for parking, however, im sure thats not the case, and it was a misunderstanding.
Like I said don't take it to heart, just show up sooner, get a parking spot and next time when someone takes your spot, loose it on them! lol.
