Cut it down... Free?

I find that good screws are the costly bit, compared to the board, but I can't complain over the results compared to pre-fab....
You say "Both places will cut it down t0o size..." Would home depot cut it for me for free? or would that cost extra? I'm kinda thinking about making a really big box, got Eight 12" sub I wanna put into a band-pass box n use as regular skeapers. They work well enough, but I just wanna stick 'em in a bok so they're easier tomove and I only have a manual directed circular saw. If HD will cut this stuff for free I can almost guarantee there will be no issues with my box building at all.

Wow! Old thread.

If I'm not mistaken most places will charge approx $1 per cut and home depot will give you 2 cuts free.

That's not a bad deal. Thanks!

...... Where'd you get that quote about the silver wire? I doubt they even use silver in any wires... I'm gonna stick with copper.

Silver wire is available. There's no point and it's rediculously expensive, but it IS out there.

Not baltic, it has voids and its about 11 layers. I have built 3 enclosures with it and have had no issues.

I've found Baltic birch in Vancouver and it was $130 for a 4x8 sheet.
