what type of atomics are you looking for?

 

12" APX or so. :-) used if possible rethinking the setup i think i need 1500wrms max for now.

9512 vs APX 12D im under the impression DD will sound a bit better but atomic will hold the wattage better (although I dont plan on putting over 2K to the sub anyhow). Also I need 4 Cubic Foot box for the ATOMIC what size do I need for the DD? I think they run better off smaller boxes? It'll be tuned for SPL and going in an SUV.

 

I run over 4000 watts to a 3512 ( compitition) with no issues. I doubt you'll need a 9512 for 2000 watts for daily, although a good investment for future amplifier upgrade.

I used a box 14 x 14 x 24 for my 9512, and it performed well. from the atomic stuff I've seen, I would say dd is more likely to hold up to abuse over atomic. also, there is a dd dealer here in canada. I'm not sure about atomic, so customer service could suck...

 

Thats what I was thinking once I have more cash do some serious electrical upgrades and put more juice to it.
