LOL I just re read it, it made sense.
If you stay in St B you can only have 1battery you arent gonna power 2 500.1 to full extent with 1 battery. I dunno would u gain the near 3db needed by adding one more?
with the d3100 i would definitely gain by adding another amp.. but obviously need a ton of more wire as well.. i'd probably go to like 149 and then playing with the box and more tuning maybe get 150 to 151... so with another amp and wire thats another grand.. to be at like 149ish..

with just a $500 crx i could be at 150 easy..and have way more potential to get closer to 155 with a second amp

there comes a point where ur car becomes more of an spl vehicle than a daily driver. Even in street. Multiple runs of wire through the interior, panels breaking/ comin loose from the bass isnt that cool in a daily driver.

You still have your 2512s and m1 which did decent daily in the escape...id keep those and get a rex. your 9912s and 2 500.1s will do 153+ with the first box made on the first day of tuning.

Do you need to stay in Street B? You could always add a couple more batteries in the back to boost you into Street C with those amps and subs. If Dustin is competing, he'll probably beat you, but who else is there in that class in BC? Me?
I am buying myself a POS wagon for my Z2LV and a couple of 9512's. I just bought 4 Kinetic 2400's for my C set-up. We could compete! I don't want to play with myself. Play with me Craig!??!!?

you cant have 4 batts for C though can you?

and to clarify, word on the street is that waggy will be competing this year but that is only his opinion today.. and the lazyness could kick in and change his mind but he says he is going to..

and i wont go into C.. even if i did it would make me wanna get a new vehicle dedicated to spl even more just cuz it would require even more gear

i'm ruling out a cuz i have a batt that is too big.. if i went in anything else it would be something like a wall class or something but i doubt it..

I think you should get a dedicated spl car......not neccisarily a crx tho. Everybody and their dog has a crx to compete in. it's easy dbs for sure, but where's the challange???? or even the awe factor????? We turned alot of heads this year, both Erin and I with what we brought to the mic. Many 150+ db runs at 41 hz is pretty amazing without having to replace ANY gear. You need to do something just a little different.....pm me if you want some ideas I have.......

only allowed 2 batts under 800 cubic inches in street C. With all those batts you would be in SS-nw. (superstreet no-wall) which is an awesome class in my opinion. However, not much competition there either. Killer amp though...should try it on 16 volts

The word on the street is correct. Its all been decided. Been building for weeks now secretely. 160+ in SS5+ and 156+ in bassrace...daily driven. Extremely pumped for the 09 season.

However I do have my box from 07 finals (and woofers) aswell as my 08 box (and woofers) which were louder. If someone wanted to build a loud suv....they would also work well in a crx

i also think if ur gunna switch vehicles that we should put a bit of work into the escape to get it above 150. Just to show it who's boss!
