I have heard yours. Crazy loud! But would a wall not get louder?

yes i am sure that a wall would get much louder in the car van but the n/w is more of a challenge imo.

using an 02 caravan? no-wall might be a little tricky, not to say it cant be done. and i dont think no-wall is more challenging than a wall? ss-nw and ss1-2 numbers are pretty close

I'm finishing up purchasing equipment for my fiancee's 08 Hyundai Accent. Then need to have it all installed.
Already have:
~DLS Ultimate A5 3 channel amp - 80W x 2 @ 4 ohm, 500W x 1 @ 2 ohm. (Thanks Zotman)
~Eclipse SW7200 DVC4 Subwoofer 500W RMS, wired for 2 ohm. (Thanks MR2NR)
Built a 2cu.ft ported enclosure tuned for 30Hz. This sub is currently being broken-in in my car. Its getting 640W from a Memphis amp. There's definitely some issues with the box - unwanted resonance, or port noise. I'd like a duplicate made at some point, but with better technique, and proper port dimensions/flaring/rounded corners.
~25 feet of 4AWG power cable. (Zotman again). 100Amp ANL fuse with holder, and the rest of the speaker cables, RCA's, remote turn on wire all from KnuKonceptz.

Next I need to pay for the MB Quart Premium 6.5" component speakers I have on lay-away from MR2NR. And find some inexpensive sound-deadening material for which I already have a lead. Something to do with roofing material - Peel N' Seal?

Then install and be jealous that her setup is way better than mine.
