First... Dave, thanks for the vote. I really do appreciate it. It's been a lot of fun seeing you get started this year and I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do next year when you step up in class.
Second.. lets just call this what it is. The GTA peoples choice award. There's no way anyone outside of the GTA will get more than 1 or 2 votes from anyone but a personal friend. Having said that, I think there are a few other people who deserve a mention who probably won't just becasue of where they live.
Lets consider the following list of people:
Jeff Boudreau - both an IASCA and TNE judge who has put on a tonne of shows and travelled all over the province (unlike a few people already mentioned who only stuck to a couple of hours of driving within the GTA). Not to mention the few trips he's also made out to Quebec for 1x shows just to support his friends. He had planned to go down to SBN but got thwarted at the border. This also prevented him from competing at and judging even more shows in northern NY. Despite his inability to cross the border he still made sure the SPL Inc car was there with some other team members.
Yaniv Dadoun - He made it to a RIDICULOUS number of shows. It didn't matter what org or the location: he was there. Travelling down to the GTA on a regular basis just to get points to compete at dbDrag finals. I think I even read about how he drove down to the GTA to borrow a mic for a show back in MTL. (6hrs each way just to borrow a mic!)
Eric Desponts - The scores he puts up with very minimal equipment are just silly. Not only that but he's a REALLY nice guy who has no problem discussing everything about his vehicle with anyone who asks (ok, so you have to ask in French but he often has someone around who can translate for you). To find someone who is SO open and willing to show off his system is a refreshing change.
Wayne McAffrey - I KNOW that most of you guys have never even heard of him. He puts in a crazy amount of work on his CRX and gets absolutely nothing out of it. His work schedule makes it so he can very rarely go to shows, but he puts in the work anyways and lets his gf (Amy Barr) compete with it. I don't know of anyone who would go through the trouble he has to build a system and NOT get to compete with it. (I should also mention that Amy DOES to some work on it too, just so I don't get my *** kicked the next time I see her!)
So.. I know the chances of these people getting another vote is pretty slim but I think they're all worth mentioning.

Oh... and if my vote has to go for someone from the GTA.. I'd say Yuli as well. A great guy who, despite his Internet persona, helps everyone and anyone who asks for it.
Plus.. he's straight up gangsta and I'd be afraid of voting against him for fear of being shot

My vote goes to:
Martin from TeamOverpressure.
That dude was knocking on death's door and luckily there was no answer!
He can barely speak english but he's a super great guy!
He helped out some of my friends (Justincredible, AudioAim, Lexan Silson) when no one else would.
Always willing to help at the drop of a dime!
My second choice would be all from Team: 2loud4you. A team that pretty much sticks together and helps each other out.
My third if I had to pick from gta: spoiled vote!
