Hey, my buddy has a 2003 Tacoma. He has a Marksman alarm that was installed by Beamriders. I replaced the stock LED in the dash with a Varad one, but it is not very bright, and it flashes in a stuttering manner. Anyone know if these alarms have a weak output? I kept the led wired up through the resistor pack, but only used the black and red, obviously.

So I should just bypass the Varad's built in resistor pack?

no...instead of using the led output, use the "negative out while armed" to activate the varad scanner.
