Car Alarm Costs

I was just wondering how much it was roughly to get a decent car alarm and have it installed. Im not protecting anything that great of value just about 2500 bucks worth the stuff that some little punk kids would try to get there hands on.

Well first off, Theft is theft, doesnt matter if its $100 worth or $10 000 worht!! I say A good alarm with 2 way paging is the way to go, expect to spend roughly $300~400 depending on the store that installs it! I know I paid like $125 for my alarm, and installed it myself!!!

^^^^ That is a great way to get a employee fired. If you value your job, imagine if your boss was on this forum and just read your comments. My bet is that you would be finding yourself a new job like tomorrow morning.

what's wrong with someone trying to make an extra buck on the side during off hours and at the same time helping someone save a buck??? that's a wrong way of looking at it. besides what kind of boss monitors his employee activities off hours anyways? some kind of control freak I would assume...

IMO as I have been an owner of a store , What happens on the person's off hours and is not directly affiliated to the store, IE= I can get you a great deal if you come see me blah blah blah, why does it matter? off hours is off hours. anyways, back to topics, check with the site vendors such as Selective sound(only because I see that you are Toronto area, and so are they) They are an authorized Compustart and Viper dealer! I don't know how much better then that your going to get!!

when i worked for future shop they listed that policy that you cant offer services that they offer so its pretty much saying if ur a car installer there u can go after work and start making money on the side doing it i believe because your taking away their business

same thing as installing a stereo for a buddy for a case of beer. If any boss has a problem with that then they are just grumpy people (and no im not here trying to insult anyone for those who are grumpy so please dont make a war out of that). If a business suffers from an install here and there then they arent doing that well to begin with and a handfull of installs isnt going to save them. I can guarantee you that most installers working for shops do stuff on the side whether they are "allowed" to or not. You may not want to admit it but it happens all the time. Anyways back to the topic if anyone wants to install one PM me.
