I'm looking at purchasing and getting installed a Compustar 2W8000FMR (white remote). I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this unit or has had any trouble. Also what would be a decent price to pay for this unit installed in my srt-4 with hood, trunk, turbotimer, locks, etc. T think it needs a module to work with chrysler vehicles that isn't cheap. Thanks

650-700 installed with a good quality bypass. i have aot of experience with the compustarts and have had great siccess

I did compustars entry level rebranded remote starts at FS and they were kind of a pain to install compared to Viper and Nordic Start. But they were awesome performers, never had a single problem with one. The bypass shouldn't be that much.

great alarm+starter. the only thing i don't like is how it was wired when i put it in my cavy. it's a stick. if i want it to warm up i have to run out thier and turn it on then take thekey out nad run back in. mabye it's cause it's a standard. or the guy's at tune's are retardeds.

other then that it is a very good alarm. i'm goign to have to go readjust the sensity. keep's goign off when kid's with loud muffler's go by.

hahaha now that i look at me remote. you are getting the same one i have. i think it's time for a new remote. mine has super glue all over it.

Yeah, that shouldnt happen, i can autostart mine. and my cars a 6spd...

You sure you have the standard trans sequence right chunk? Engine should keep running when key comes out of the ignition and stop when the door closes.
